This document explains how to obtain the physical address (MAC address) of a network card in a Windows system.
MAC address format:XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX
Steps
1. Click Start ,then Run , then type "cmd’ in the text box.
2. Type "ipconfig /all" in the Command Prompt Windows.
3. The MAC address are listed by ipconfig under Physical Address.
*Every student can register two MAC addresses for your devices which will be used for studying at CEIBS. Please pay more attention to the Ethernet adapter description marked with green in order to differentiate wired and wireless adapter.
