How to Set up Public Printer on MacOS

This guide helps staff, faculty, and MBA students to install and use the public printer.

 

Download and install

  • Click the Download link: CEIBS-Printer App here and install it. If the download failed, please right-click the link and choose Download Linked File(Safari) or Save Link As...(Chrome) to download it.

    Note: Please do not rename the installation package. If you downloaded it before, please remove the old one.
  • Open the installation package and follow the instructions to install step by step.

 

Setup Public printer

  1. After the installation, the default printer is changed to CEIBS-Printer.


  2. Try to print something and enable double-sided printing for duplex printing if needed. Click Features under Printer Options to change the color in Output Color.


  3. Setup complete.

 

Use Public Printer

  • When you print for the first time after installing the app, you will be prompted to enter your CEIBS account (The username does not include @ceibs.edu) and password.
  • You can choose the period for which your CEIBS account and password information will be saved.


  • Once you change the CEIBS account password, you will be prompted to enter the CEIBS account and the new password again when you print.

 

Tips

After installing the CEIBS-Printer, please note the following important functions and items:
    1. You can sign in to the printer by scanning the QR code with your E-Card in the iCampusPlus app.
      • Alternatively, follow the printed guide Badge Card Registration beside the printer, to bind your student card with your CEIBS account and password.
    2. Follow Me Printing allows you to release your print jobs at the nearest public printer.
    3. Please disconnect your VPN before printing.

 

For MBA Student: 

    • CEIBS provides a public printing service for MBA students using 7 all-in-one printers.
    • Students are provided with an initial complimentary black-and-white print quota. Color printing is charged at a standard rate. For more details, please refer to IT Resources and Services Quick Guide for MBA Students.
